dedicated to presentations on the common vision of the Future of the Internet elaborated and shared by the five ETPs active in the ICT domain - eMobility, EPoSS, ISI, NEM and NESSI. Six different speakers from all horizons will present this vision.
Industrial Panels track – 3 panels on Thursday 11/12/2008 and Friday 12/12/2008
3 multidisciplinary open debate panels focusing on topics which, starting from traditional Service-Based System Engineering, will bring the discussions toward the ambitious target of Future Internet
- Future Internet, more than a buzzword ?
- The Impact of IT services in the economy
- Building the broad service Industry convergence between IT and Telecommunications
Scientific track – 10 sessions on Thursday 11/12/2008 and Friday 12/12/2008
The scientific Track of ServiceWave 2008 has attracted 102 submissions from 28 countries. The contributions have come from research communities as diverse as software engineering, grid computing, service-oriented computing and business process management. Based on at least three reviews per paper and a two day program committee meeting held in Essen on September 1-2, 2008, the program committee decided to accept 28 high quality papers, an acceptance rate of 27%.
Proceedings are printed by Springer, under the title
